There is a synergistic effect between movement and psychological growth. Movement-walking, jogging, or interval training-primes the brain to be more creative, a better problem solver or more open to growth and change. Activity-Based Therapy is customized to your fitness level, goals and preferences. During a typical ABT session, we will meet and do a 5-minute check-in/warm-up then proceed together on a walk, hike or jog at a pace at which you are moving, but still comfortable and able to hold a conversation. The sessions end with a 5-minute debrief and cool-down.
